About Me

I’d love to sit down for some coffee with you instead of writing an “About Me” section. Personality comes across with words but there’s quite a bit more that comes across when you are sipping a steaming cup of coffee.

I have a theory that I try to live out.

“Life is an adventure given to you by God. Enjoy it.”

Adventures aren’t always lovely things. There are dark nights of the soul and moments when you tilt your head back, revel in the sunshine, and just laugh. Adventures are facing your fears and realizing that there are things worth getting out of bed for in the morning. There are obstacles to overcome, peaks to scale, and long cold channels to swim. Each one of these trials weave character into my soul and texture into my life story. It’s my faith in Jesus that keeps me going and sustains me when I feel like curling up and giving up.

I laugh a lot, cheat on my diets, and have a love for Italian sodas. I have a list of things I want to do before I am Old/Boring/or 30. I’m pretty excited about it. I love my family, love my cousins, and love my faith. I’m horribly flawed and scandalously forgiven. I have a nice camera but I find it hard to disconnect myself from the moment and actually take pictures.I have acne that I can never seem to get rid of. I like long walks on the beach and even longer drives in convertibles. Oh, and people fascinate me.

That’s me.

I stumbled on to your blog – I like the stream of consciousness writing (you called it rambling) because it feels honest. Good stuff.

I have also written a novel – it is about a man who meets his angel and finds faith, love and forgiveness in the process. The name of it is ‘The Confession of Mason Young.’ Here is the web address: http://www.tcarroll-online.com

If you are interested in reading and/or reviewing it, email me a snail mail address and I’ll send you a copy.

  2. Hi Caitlin! I finally checked out your blog. It’s great! I like the variety of articles you post. Sorry it took me so long! I finally looked up Nicole and Jill’s blogs last time I was online.

I liked your “controversial” Mr. Darcy article. I’m with you. Actually, I’m more of a Mr. Knightley (Emma) fan than Darcy anyway. He’s so much more endearing, friendly, and fun.

Can’t wait to read Goodbye Mr. 7:45! It sounds like a fun book.

  4. Once again my browsing was a success because I found your absorbing post while searching for pages that mention life in the US. I operate a small manufacturingestablishment in Spring, Texas that makes political gifts. Come visit my site sometime. Keep up the good work with your blog.
