Life is Beautiful

I’m in a ridiculously good mood.

It’s my birthday and it’s been the best one in my life. I celebrated it with the people I love+adore and who love+adore me. It wasn’t a very adventurous birthday. If anything, it was lazy and laid-back. Waking up just before noon to play video games with my little brother. Thank you Mr. Nintendo! Yummy Pad Thai with my mom for lunch. A mousse cake with my dear grandparents, complete with tiny burning candle. Sipping a caramel cappuccino at one of my favorite coffeehouses while penning letters to dear ones. Dipping fondue, watching candlelight flicker off the beautiful faces of friends. People singing happy birthday, causing everyone else to pause in the tiny restaurant.  Freezing on my way to the car.  Reading cards and opening presents.

Thanks. I hope everyone has birthdays like this.

sounds like a lovely way to spend one’s birthday. 🙂 A caramel Cappuccino would be epic- I think i’d like one now. 🙂

  2. Aww, I’m so glad you had a great birthday Caitlin ❤
